While Ebuka has undeniably mastered the art of the agbada – which he has proved on multiple occasions by shutting down the internet with his unrivaled agbada game – this particular one has to go up there with the greats for several reasons. For one, the denim fabric makes the classic and traditional agbada come off as a more contemporary clothing item while still retaining the silhouette and traditional appeal we have come to love and expect from it. Secondly, it just looks absolutely bomb on Ebuka.
Ebuka paired the agbada from D9 with black loafers also from D9 and a traditional hat from Hula, which all came together to achieve a look that is absolutely suave, African and gentlemanly last night and honestly, we love every bit of the ensemble.
