For House of Nwocha‘s 2019 resort collection, Ugonna Omeruo took inspiration from the sea, her fascination with the ocean and its depth resulted in the creation of this new offering tagged Into the blue.
Ugonna loves to create unique and feminine pieces for the contemporary woman. Volume, colours, embroideries, hand-beading techniques and handmade accessories are ever-present in her work.
For this HON resort collection, she featured opposite patterns, such as floral prints in chiffon, soft print jacquard, and organza panels. This collection is a ready-to-wear meet haute couture line-up, with wearable staples such as bomber tops, structured and fluid silhouettes, silk bow pants, hand-sewn leaf patterns, and hand-beaded Swarovski stoned jumpsuit. Unique handmade Alice velvet headpieces made in four colours are included.
